A Note from Amy, Founder and CEO...
Did you know: your spoken words can become something lasting? Something beyond a moment or a recording? Whether it’s a keynote presentation, a breakout session, a PowerPoint deck, or even a collection of your best social media posts, we help you transform it into a professionally published book. We capture your voice, organize your ideas, and shape them into a format that extends your reach far beyond the room, the stage, or the screen—so your message keeps working for you long after the mic drops. We can put your words into print, creating a forever memory of your speech—and have you ready to sell copies at your event.
Thank you for the opportunity to potentially provide publishing services for your project.
They say the top fear people have is public speaking—more than heights, more than spiders. Yes, public speaking. So if you are a regular speaker, have given a one-and-done speech, facilitate a group, lead a work meeting, or are considering joining Toastmasters, know this: we are all on our own public speaking journey at various levels.
I used to be terrified of public speaking. Shaky knees, quivering voice, dry mouth—petrified. I began to break out of it a little when I taught tenth grade English back in California before I had kids. Obviously, coming up with lesson plans, teaching concepts, and reading to students helped. Truthfully, it wasn’t the students I was afraid of—it was fellow adults. But I digress.
Then I had a massive break from any opportunities—wanted or unwanted—to speak in public while I was a full-time mom. Fast forward to 2011, and I was becoming Amy 2.0, as a sober mom in recovery.
One of the unexpected gifts of recovery is the many opportunities to speak in public. In fact, sharing in meetings is part of our healing. For many of us, it’s the last thing we want to do, but sharing authentically becomes part of our makeup. Without even realizing it, it gets easier. It’s part of the metamorphosis into the new version of the person we’re becoming. Our confidence begins to return, and we are suddenly able to do things we never imagined—live a life free of alcohol and get up on stage to share our story with heartfelt truth. We’ve learned how to do this as a byproduct of our journey. It’s a gift, and it’s amazing to be used by our higher power when we thought our days of being useful to others were behind us.
What a treasure.
